This notice applies to all publications, digital files, exams and certificates offered by (“the Institute”, “we”) through this website. By ordering or using any of our materials you agree to it.
1. Copyright and ownership
All publications, including RIMBOK — The Reputation and Image Management Body of Knowledge, and all text, frameworks, diagrams, exam questions and website content, are the intellectual property of the Institute and its author. All rights are reserved.
No part of any publication may be copied, reproduced, shared, resold, uploaded, translated, or stored in any retrieval or AI system, in any form or by any means, without prior written permission from the Institute. Short quotations for review, teaching or research are allowed when the source is clearly credited.
2. Personal licence for digital copies
Buying a digital copy gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it for your own use. It does not transfer ownership of the content. Copies may carry the buyer’s name or other identifying marks. Organisations that need copies for several people should contact us for a multi-user licence.
3. Editions, updates and availability
Our body of knowledge evolves with the profession. The Institute may publish revised, expanded or renamed editions at any time, and may change the content, structure or title of any publication without notice.
Buying one edition does not include later editions, unless we announce otherwise. We do not guarantee that any edition will remain on sale, be reprinted, or be offered in a particular format or language. Certificates and exams may be based on a specific edition, which will be stated when registration opens.
4. Accuracy and no professional advice
Our publications are prepared with care and reflect the author’s research and experience at the time of writing. They are provided for education and professional development and are not legal, financial or individual consulting advice. The Institute is not liable for decisions taken or results obtained from applying the material.
5. Trademarks
, RIMBOK and related names and logos are names used by the Institute to identify its publications and credentials. Other names mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used for reference only.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website and may change at any time; the price shown when you transfer is the price that applies. Payment is by bank or money transfer, using the details shown on the How to order page or sent to you when you order. Any transfer or bank fees are paid by the buyer. An order is confirmed only after the full payment has been received and matched to the order details you send us.
7. Delivery
Digital items are delivered by email to the address you provide, normally after the payment is confirmed. Please check your spam folder. If you have not received your copy within three working days of sending your order details, contact us.
8. Refunds
Because digital files cannot be returned once delivered, all sales of digital publications are final and non-refundable. If a file is damaged, incomplete or cannot be opened, we will send a working copy. If we cannot deliver an item you have paid for, we will refund the amount received.
9. Exams and certificates
Exam fees, eligibility, validity and renewal rules will be published when each certificate opens. A certificate is issued only to the person who passes the exam, and the Institute may withdraw any certificate obtained through cheating, impersonation or misuse of exam content.
10. Privacy
We use the details you send with your order (name, email, country and payment reference) only to confirm your payment, deliver your purchase and contact you about it. We do not sell your information.
